# Polygon

**Metamask setup** 

* Before being able to utilize any assets on Polygon, we first need to setup our Polygon network on Metamask.
* In order to do so, please open your Metamask wallet and select network; Custom RPC. (See attached image below).

Now put in the following in order to setup your Fantom wallet.

1. **Network name**: Polygon
2. **New RPC URL**: <https://polygon-rpc.com/>
3. **ChainID**: 137
4. **Symbol**: MATIC
5. **Block Explorer URL**: <https://polygonscan.com/>

Press save, and your Polygon Wallet should now show up in the Network selection Tab.
