# Modes

## Simple Mode

The Simple Mode on Lif3 Swap is the default setting when you first enter the site. In basic terms, you will be able to swap one asset for another just by filling in the asset to sell and the asset to buy from the drop-down menus and adding an amount to swap.

## Advanced Mode

To enter Advanced Mode, toggle the Advanced Mode toggle switch. Advanced Mode shows a live display of the token pair's chart, trade history, and liquidity history with an option to see the user's personal trade/liquidity history as well.
